Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Secretary Sudhir Tripathi chaired a high level meeting on the Global Skill Summit which is scheduled on January10 in which secretaries of the various other departments also participated.
During the review meeting, the Chief Secretary asked to use the lessons which were learned in the Global Agriculture Summit and asked to organize a meeting of the various committees which have been formed and carve out a roadmap for successfully organizing the event. In the review meeting, he was informed that 19000 people would be participating in the event for which different committees for organization, management, protocol, food and media have been formed. The main event would be held in the athletic stadium of Khelgaon on which the Chief Secretary asked to make arrangements so that the track is not damaged.
The officials informed that against a target to provide offer letters to 1 lakh youth so far 88,000 have been given employment while the remaining 12,000 would also be completed in time. It was decided that a total of 30 stalls for skill development would be put up at venue and 16 partner companies have been also identified. In the stalls tools for skill development would be showcased.
The Chief Secretary also gave necessary instructions related to security, parking, drinking water, toilets, fooding and welcoming of the delegates. It was informed that the IPRD would also be putting up banners across the main road of the city few days before the event while hoardings would also be put up in all district ad block headquarters while 47 LED vans will also create awareness in the state along with that TV, radio and social media would also be used and a media center would also be put up at the venue
