Chief Minister pays tributes to former JPSC Chairman and Ex- IPS Amitabh Chaudhary

Ranchi: Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren reached the residence of late Amitabh Choudhary at Ashok Nagar in the capital today and paid his tributes to the former Chairman of Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and former IPS officer who passed away on Tuesday following a cardiac arrest.

Condoling the untimely demise of Amitabh Choudhary, the Chief Minister said that the personality of Amitabh Choudhary had a distinct identity in the state and in the country. While working in the state government as IPS and JPSC Chairman Choudhary had discharged his responsibility very well. 

He was a responsible and loyal person towards his duty and people have always appreciated the work done by him Chaudhary. The Chief Minister said that people all have not only lost an officer but a lively person in the form of Amitabh Choudhary. He said that Amitabh Chaudhary had played an important role in getting international recognition to Jharkhand. 

He had been instrumental in taking forward cricket in the state and his death is an irreparable loss to the state, country and cricket world. Continuing further he said that Chaudhary will always remain a source of inspiration for the youth and people associated with sports. 

The Chief Minister said that Amitabh Choudhary will always be remembered as an efficient sports administrator. “Everyone will remember this personality in the times to come. I express my condolences to the well-wishers and loved ones of Amitabh Chaudhary, “ he said.

The Chief Minister prayed to God to give a place to the departed soul in his feet and give strength to the bereaved family members to bear the loss. On the occasion, the Chief Minister consoled the family members of late Amitabh Choudhary and expressed his deepest condolences.
