Ranchi: Managing Director of Adani Group Rajesh Adani called on Hemant Soren in Ranchi on Friday.
It was discussed during the meeting that according to the terms of the MoU between the Godda Power Plant established by the Jharkhand government and the Adani Group, 400 MW of electricity has to be made available to the state government, in the direction of making of electricity and made it available at a cheaper rate.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren directed that officials of the Energy Department and representatives of Adani Power Plant organize a meeting soon to find a solution in this direction and ensure that electricity is made available to the state at a cheap rate.
The Chief Minister said to the Managing Director of Adani Group Rajesh Adani, that in the areas through which the water of river Ganga is being brought for the use of the power plant, there are possibilities of providing irrigation water through pipeline to the fields of the farmers.
State Chief Secretary Sukhdeo Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Energy Department Avinash Kumar, Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey and other senior officials were present on this occasion.
