Chief Minister handed over appointment letters to 500 youths

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren handed over appointment letters to 500 students of Nursing and ITI Skill College and Kalyan Gurukul at Nagara Toli near Women’s College Science Block in Ranchi on Wednesday.

CM handed over appointment letters to candidates in a program organized by the Prejha Foundation, which is working as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of the Welfare Department, Jharkhand Government, at ITI Kaushal College.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the Seva Cafe run by the girl students of the Culinary Department under ITI Skill College. CM Soren said, “A job with a pay scale below 45,000 will be available in the private sector.” Government medicine shops will be opened at the Panchayat level. The one who can read and write can also open a medicine shop. Now there will be no need for a Pharmacist degree here. CM said that now technology is being used in every work. Government skill development colleges will be opened in the state.

The Chief Minister said the Prejha Foundation, which is working as a special purpose vehicle of the state government, has set a target of making girl students successful entrepreneurs with the experience of Seva Cafe. Through Seva Cafe, practical knowledge related to entrepreneurship will be imparted to the girls during their studies in college.

The SPV Prejha Foundation of the Welfare Department is running 28 Kalyan Gurukuls, 8 Nursing Skill Colleges, and one ITI Skill College in 24 districts of the state. Through this project, more than 30,000 young men and women have got employment in reputed companies in the country. He said now boys will also do the nursing course.

On this occasion, several officers including Welfare Minister Champai Soren, Principal Secretary to CM Vandana Dadel, and Secretary to CM Vinay Choubey were present.
