Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren extended his greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Ramnavami and also asked them to incorporate his teachings in their daily lives.
Addressing the devotees after performing the Puja on the occasion of Ramnavami at the Ram Janki Tapovan Mandir he said that Maryada Purushottam is everyone’s idol. He said that the Ramnavami Mahaparv strengthens the centuries-old bonds of personal unity brotherhood and harmony.
He said that by following the teachings of Bhagwan Ram welfare of everyone can be achieved. He also prayed to the well-being peace and prosperity and happiness in the lives of the people.
Addressing thousands of devotees present here, the Chief Minister said that last year on the occasion of the Ramnavami festival, it was announced to develop the holy land of Tapovan. This year the renovation and beautification work of the temple and the surrounding area has started and on Ram Navami next year people will see the grand temple of Bhagwan Shri Ram Janaki here.
He said that more than Rs 14 crore rupees are being spent on the development of the Tapovan temple complex and assured that more funds will be made available if needed.
The Chief Minister said that the government is committed to preserving and develop historical-religious places. The development of the Tapovan temple complex and the surrounding area is an important part of this link he said adding that this temple is being developed as a symbol.
Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji and members of Shri Ram-Janki Tapovan Temple Committee and Shri Shri Mahaveer Mandal Nivaranpur Committee were present on this occasion.
