In this case, the plaintiff was getting the work done departmentally by paying an advance amount for the building construction work of Industrial Training Institute, Barhi of this division. Only an advance amount of Rs 1 crore 27 lakh was taken against the work described by the accused.
After adjustment of Rs 1 crore 9 lakh 84 thousand 837 hundred against the advance of Rs 1 crore 27 lakh, the remaining unadjusted amount of Rs 17,17,167 was found still pending in the name of the accused, which constitutes a case of embezzlement of government funds.
