Changes in traffic route of Ranchi due to Republic Day celebrations

Ranchi: Changes have been made in the traffic system of the city due to the Republic Day celebrations organized at Morhabadi Ground in Ranchi. On January 26, entry of heavy vehicles has been banned from 6 am to 10 pm. Apart from this, many routes of the city have been diverted.

14 drop gates have been made around the venue of the ceremony. During the program, small vehicles will be allowed to move as before. Small vehicles will be able to go from Karamtoli Chowk towards Jail Chowk. Whereas big vehicles can go towards their destination through the diverted route.

In-charge Traffic SP Rajkumar Mehta has issued an order regarding this. Besides, all the traffic policemen have been instructed to remain deployed at their designated place from time to time on the day of the function. Officials’ vehicles will be parked at the parking lot near Nilambar-Pitamber Park, west of the main stage

Vehicles with orange passes will park their vehicles at the parking lot to the west of the main stage Parking arrangements for vehicles with green passes will be at the parking lot in front of Bapu Vatika. There will be parking arrangements for media persons near the Army Ground in front of Bapu Vatika.

Only VIPs, officials and media personnel will be allowed to enter the road leading from DC residence to Morhabadi. There will be a ban on entry of normal vehicles on the road from Deendayal Nagar to Morhabadi via DC residence. Entry of normal vehicles has been banned on the road adjacent to the residence of MP Shibu Soren. Entry of vehicles other than officials and media persons will be prohibited on the road in front of the Army Ground.

Normal vehicles will not be allowed to enter near the hockey stadium. Can. Only those participating in the function will be allowed to enter Sabzi Mandi Road. Entry is also prohibited on the road leading from the Registry Office to Morhabadi Maidan. Vehicles coming from Deendayal Nagar next to the State Guest House. Entry has been banned. The vehicles of the Governor and VVIPs will enter from the VVIP entrance of the State Guest House.
