Chances of rain in many districts of Jharkhand till May 10

Ranchi: In Jharkhand, the mood of the weather is getting changed these days due to which people are getting relief from the heatwave and rising temperatures.

There is a possibility of rain in many districts of the state till May 10. On Wednesday afternoon, it rained in many districts including Ranchi which has made the weather pleasant.

Apart from Ranchi, there was rain in many areas of the state with strong wind. The Meteorological Center has forecasted that it may rain till May 10 and People will get relief from the heat due to rain.

On Wednesday the northeastern part of the state Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur and Sahibganj districts, besides the southern parts East and West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan and Simdega districts and central regions Ranchi, Bokaro, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Khunti and some parts of Ramgarh district received light to moderate rain.

At the same time, there is no possibility of any major change in the maximum temperature in the state during the next five days. The weather station has predicted light to moderate rain at a few places over northeastern, southern and central parts of the state on May 5 and 6, 2022. At the same time, on May 7, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at some places in the north-eastern and south-eastern parts of the state.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at isolated places in the northeast and adjoining central parts, apart from the south-eastern part of the state on May 8. On May 9 and 10, 2022, light to moderate rain has been predicted at isolated places in the state.

Strong surface wind (highest speed: 30-40 kmph) with thunder/ thundershowers very likely at isolated places over northeast, south and central parts of the state. Due to rain, the maximum temperature of all the districts of the state has come down to below 40 degree celsius. In the last three-four days, there has been a drop in temperature by four to six degree celsius at most places.

Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning occurred at some places in the state in the last 24 hours. During this, hailstorms also occurred at total places in Ranchi and Hazaribagh districts. The highest rainfall of 18.4 mm was recorded in Palkot of Gumla.
