Regarding this, the Rural Development Department has written a letter to the DC and DDC of all the districts.
It has been said in the letter that MGNREGA workers should not be employed in any other work.
This letter has been issued with the signature of Joint Secretary of the department, Arun Kumar Singh.
It has been said in the letter that Birsa Green Village Scheme and Birsa Irrigation Well Enhancement Mission schemes are running under MNREGA.
In any case, it has to be completed within the stipulated time limit.
The Rural Development Department had received a complaint that other work was also being taken from MNREGA workers.
Besides, it was also revealed in the review meeting that the progress of MGNREGA schemes is not satisfactory.
In such a situation, the department has taken action and written a letter to the DC and DDC of the districts.
It has been said in the letter that the work of the schemes should be completed on time.
