Central CRM team reaches Ranchi, to review works of Rural Development Department

Ranchi: A CRM team has come from the Center to review the plans of the government regarding the development of rural areas. The team will see the specifics of the good condition of rural development schemes in the state and will try to understand the model of the state, how the schemes are being implemented, what is the status of central and state sustainable rural development schemes on the ground will also be assessed on the ground.

The team held a review meeting with the officials of the Rural Development Department and took information about all other rural development schemes including Mnrega, PM Awas Yojana Gramin, Shyama Prasad Rurban Mission Scheme, NRLM, PMGSY in Jharkhand and gave information about the targeted standards of the central government.

The CRM team of the Center will also visit various districts of the state from February 19 to February 22 and inspect the rural development plans. The team will also hold a meeting with the Deputy Commissioners, Deputy Development Commissioners of the respective districts. Inspection of the ongoing schemes in the Gram Panchayat will also be done. Former Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu Dr Rajeev Ranjan is leading the central team.

The team includes former NABARD GM Dharanidhar Mishra, Retired Professor Center for Rural Infrastructure NIRD&PR Hyderabad Polanki Shivaram and Associate Professor Hemanta Kumar Unmati. Secretary Rural Development Department Dr Manish Ranjan, Mnrega Commissioner Rajeshwari B, CEO JSLPS Nancy Sahai and other officers were present in the review meeting.
