Sahibganj: CBI raided the house of Pankaj Mishra, who is in jail in the illegal mining case in Sahibganj district.
A five-member CBI team arrived from Ranchi on Thursday. Police personnel have been called from Jirwabari police station. It is noteworthy that the petition filed by Pankaj Mishra in the Supreme Court to stay the CBI investigation into illegal mining was recently rejected.
According to the information, when the CBI team reached Pankaj Mishra’s Sahibganj residence. When the CBI team reached Pankaj Mishra’s house, they knocked on the door for a long time, but the door did not open from inside. After a long time it opened and as soon as the officers entered inside it was locked again.
