Ranchi: Ranchi CBI Special Court has refused to grant bail to Ram Kisun Thakur, director of chit fund company DJN Group.
The bail application filed by Ram Kisun Thakur was heard in the court on Tuesday.
After this, the court while giving its verdict rejected the bail petition.
Ram Kisun is accused of defrauding investors of crores of rupees in the name of online business.
Investigation has revealed that Ram Kisun cheated investors of crores of rupees by promising higher interest and absconded after committing the fraud.
After this the investors had registered case number 220/2016 in Lalpur police station.
The CBI took over and started an investigation. CBI has registered case number 16/2017 in this regard.
After investigating this case, CBI has filed a charge sheet against the accused.
