Chennai- Industry sources reveal that the makers of director Jason Sanjay’s much-anticipated film Sigma, starring Sundeep Kishan, have brought on board actress Catherine Tresa for a special song sequence.

According to reports, Catherine Tresa will share the screen with Sundeep Kishan in a vibrant dance track composed by Thaman, known for his high-energy music and powerful background scores.

The foot-tapping number, expected to be one of the highlights of the film, has been shot on a grand and colourful set. Recently, the makers unveiled Sundeep Kishan’s striking first-look poster, showcasing him in a rugged, introspective avatar, perfectly setting the tone for a high-voltage treasure-hunt adventure filled with mystery, wit, and action.

Sigma revolves around a bold and unconventional protagonist—a true “Sigma”—who forges his own path, breaking norms with determination and resilience. The film promises a refreshing blend of heist thrills, humor, and emotional depth, offering something new to mainstream cinema.

This project is one of the most awaited films in Tamil, as it marks the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, son of popular actor Vijay, who is transitioning into politics and stepping away from films.

Shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, the film spans diverse locations—from the vibrant streets of Chennai and the rocky landscapes of Salem to the lush Thalakona forests and picturesque spots in Thailand.

Sources also confirm that post-production is underway alongside shooting, with the film slated for a summer 2026 release.
