Budgetary allocation of 43 percent spent so far, revenue target of 58 percent achieved till Nov 30 says Government

Ranchi: The State Government on Wednesday claimed that it has spent 43 percent of the total budgetary allocation for the fiscal 2022-23 till November 30, 2022. 

As per the government data the revised budget for the year 2022-23 was Rs 103845 crore out of which 43 percent amounting to Rs 44460 crore has been spent.

Out of the planned budget allocation of Rs 59464 crore 37 percent amount of the allocation worth Rs 22158 crore has been spent while as far as establishment budget was concerned out of an allocation of Rs 44381 crore Rs 23664 crore amounting to 53 percent has been spent.

The planned budgetary spending during the two previous fiscals in the same period was Rs 14731 crore for 2020-21 at 30 percent, Rs 17213 crore for 2021-22 at 32 percent with overall allocation size being Rs 48925 crore and Rs 53334 crore respectively for both years.

As far as revenue collection was concerned against a target of Rs 35030 crore so far Rs 20302 crore amounting to 58 percent of the total target has been achieved.

As far as revenue collection was concerned the commercial taxes department has earned Rs 12036.48 crore, Mines Rs 5109.08 crore, Excise Rs 980.29 crore, Transport Rs 822.21 crore, Registration Rs 627.69 crore and Revenue and Land Reforms Rs 26.58 crore.
