Body of engineer, who died in Iran, reaches home after over a month

Ranchi: The body of Ahilad Nandan, a resident of Taratara village in Manoharpur, arrived at his ancestral home after more than a month. The coffin was opened in the presence of Manoharpur BDO Shakti Kunj and CO Pradeep Kumar, where the family confirmed the identity of the deceased as Ahilad Nandan Mahato. Upon the arrival of the body, the family was overwhelmed with grief, and tears flowed uncontrollably.

Both the BDO and CO consoled the bereaved family, expressing their solidarity during this difficult time. They also provided financial assistance to the family as a form of support.

Ahilad Nandan Mahato, the son of Ramnandan Mahato from Taratara village in Manoharpur, had passed away in Iran. He was employed as an engineer with the shipping company BND Yat Ship Management Services. According to his father, Ahilad had gone to Iran in 2024. On March 28, the company informed the family about the tragic accident that occurred during his duty on the ship, leading to his death.
