BJP suffered dip in seats as well as vote share in Assembly polls

Yojana promised ₹2100 per month. There was also the promise of providing gas cylinders for ₹500, but this didn’t align with the rates in BJP-ruled states, where gas cylinder prices varied. Moreover, issues like illegal Bangladeshi infiltration and corruption failed to make an impact in the elections.

BJP also saw a decline in its vote percentage. In this election, the party secured 33.18% of the votes, compared to 33.37% in 2019. In 2014, the party had received 31.26% of the votes. The drop in vote share and internal factors collectively contributed to BJP’s disappointing performance in the 2024 Jharkhand Assembly elections.
