“Big Placements Boost for IIM Ranchi: ₹1.2 Cr Offer Leads a Strong Season”

Jamshedpur: The placement season at Indian Institute of Management Ranchi for 2025–26 has delivered standout results, marked by record-breaking offers and growing corporate interest across programmes.

The Executive MBA batch grabbed attention with a ₹1.2 crore offer for a senior leadership role. In the flagship MBA course, the highest package reached ₹52.50 lakh, showing consistent demand from top recruiters.

The report, unveiled in the presence of Director Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava and Prof. Rajeev Verma, pointed to steady growth, including a rise in the highest domestic salary compared to last year.

Recruiter participation expanded significantly, with 96 companies hiring and 53 new organisations joining the process. The institute also strengthened industry ties through dozens of leadership sessions and interactions.

Across programmes, performance remained strong. The MBA batch recorded an average salary of ₹19.24 lakh, while the MBA-HRM programme maintained high PPO conversions. The Business Analytics programme stood out with a notable jump in top salaries.

Students were placed across diverse sectors such as consulting, banking, IT, analytics, fintech, and insurance. Leading recruiters included HSBC, Wells Fargo, Aditya Birla Group, and Maruti Suzuki.

With its recent entry into global rankings and consistently improving placement performance, IIM Ranchi is steadily emerging as a preferred destination for management education in India.
