Ranchi, Apr 17: The High Powered Committee headed by Tourism Minister Amar Kumar Bauri has handed over its report to Chief Minister Raghubar Das and it is expected that soon the state government would be taking a final decision over the report.

It has said that the condition of these 11 non listed districts was pathetic as compared to the 13 listed districts and moreover due to their extreme geographical conditions which takes into account the uncontrolled industrialization, deforestation etc and points that in such poor circumstances why should not these 11 districts be included in the same list. The committee has also taken into point the recommendations of the Niti Aayog which has in its list of 115 most backward districts, 19 districts of Jharkhand out of which 8 are from the non listed districts including Palamu Garhwa Hazaribagh Chatra Giridih Bokaro Ramgarh and Godda.
