Ranchi, Nov 7: Jharkhand IT and Industries Department Secretary Sunil Barnwal has ordered a probe over a complaint regarding a hotel being operated in residential area in Harmu of the state capital.
Chairing the weekly review in the progress in addressal of complaints registered at the Jan Samwad Kendra here he also asked the nodal official of the urban development department to probe whether the hotel had received the license or not and also asked the MD of the housing department to submit a report containing the provisions under which a hotel can be run in residential area.
Over a complaint regarding non payment of honorarium to a teacher teaching at Madhur Muskan Blind School in Kasidih of Deoghar, Mr Barnwal directed that the payment should be made to the teacher after making deduction in the funds sanctioned to the NGO responsible for running the school.
Over another complaint from Deoghar where it was pointed out that one Padma Devi 65 was not getting the old age pension despite filing application eight months ago he asked to make payment to the women within a week. A total of 13 complaints were reviewed b him during the programme.
