Mumbai: Actress Barkha Singh chose to celebrate her birthday at work, spending the day on the sets of her upcoming reality show We Got You, Girl. The actress said working on her birthday has always felt like the most natural way to mark the occasion.
Reflecting on the day, Barkha shared that she believes growth comes from staying consistent rather than celebrating milestones.
“I’ve always believed that consistency is built in the ordinary days, not the milestone ones. So spending my birthday on set feels completely natural to me,” she said.
The actress added that she finds great satisfaction in being on set, learning from every project, and collaborating with her team.
“There’s something incredibly fulfilling about showing up, learning, collaborating, and trying to become a little better with every project. I’m grateful for everything that’s brought me here, and I’m excited to keep surprising myself as an actor,” she said.
Barkha will next be seen portraying an IRS officer in the upcoming crime thriller Tax Department Story.
She was last seen on the big screen in The Sabarmati Report, directed by Ranjan Chandel. The film, based on the 2002 Godhra train burning incident involving the Sabarmati Express, featured Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna and Riddhi Dogra in lead roles.
On television, Barkha appeared in Jaat Ki Jugni, a romantic drama starring Vishal Vashishtha, Madirakshi Mundle, Rinku Karmarkar, Yash Tonk, Richa Soni and Rakesh Pandey.
More recently, she featured in Criminal Justice: A Family Matter, directed by Rohan Sippy. The legal drama stars Pankaj Tripathi, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Surveen Chawla, Khushboo Atre and Asha Negi. The series follows lawyer Madhav Mishra as he defends Raj Nagpal in a complex murder case that gradually uncovers hidden truths and unexpected twists.
