Barbaric action on farmers, Kisan Morcha and trade union burnt effigy of PM

Ranchi: Communist Party of India (ML) under the banner of United Kisan Morcha and United Trade Union burnt the effigy of the Prime Minister at Albert Ekka Chowk in protest against the police action and brutal action being taken against the farmers at the behest of the Modi government at the center on the Delhi border.

In the effigy burning program, Mahendra Pathak, General Secretary of All India Kisan Sabha, Ashok Yadav, General Secretary of All India Trade Union Congress, Ajay Kumar Singh of Kisan Sabha, State Secretary of BKMU Imtiaz Khan, Neeraj Singh of City Bus Union, Praveen Dubey of INTUC, CITU.

Prateek Mishra of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, President of Ranchi Kisan Union Jhavlu Lal Mahato, Ranjan Yadav of Rashtriya Janata Dal Kisan Morcha, Santosh Kumar and people from many organizations were included.

The leaders said that in protest against the Central Government’s violation of promises on the Delhi border, implementation of MSP, withdrawal of the case against farmers, implementation of Swaminathan Commission’s recommendations, withdrawal of the black law made against the drivers. Farmers were going to Delhi in support of their demands.

On which, at the behest of the Modi government at the Centre, Delhi Police is taking water cannons, tear gas shells, lathi charge and many other types of actions against the agitators.To make the general strike and Gramin Bharat Bandh of 16 February successful, the leaders of the United Kisan Morcha and the United Trade Union appealed to the common people that coal mining and transportation will remain closed.

All government works including banks, LIC will remain closed, all workers will be on strike.There will be strikes in rural areas also and small and big processions will be taken out at various places and crowds of farmers and labourers will gather on the streets to protest against the Modi government at the Centre.
