Ranchi: World Disability Day is celebrated on 3rd December.
It is also known as International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
On this occasion, an awareness program cum rally was organized at Shosh Special School and Vocational Training Center Argora in Ranchi on Sunday.
The children marched on foot till Argora ground.
Here everyone was made aware about World Disability Day.
Also, in the awareness programme, the rights of the disabled and how to move forward and integrate those into the mainstream of the society were discussed.
All the disabled children and teachers had made many types of posters for the rally.
People from nearby Argora grounds also participated in the rally and awareness programme.
During this, disabled children presented many slogans, so that the society could be made aware. Sushma Saran, Deepa Chaudhary, Neeta Roy, Samita Bose, Priyanka Baske, Tumpa Mandal, Ajit Kumar along with the school’s special teachers Ananjay Kumar, Gayatri Kumari, Anuj Kumar Amit and all the disabled children of the effort participated in the program.
