Atal Bihari Vajpayee was pioneer of good governance and developed India – Babulal Marandi

Dhanbad: Jharkhand State Bharatiya Janata Party celebrated the 100th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee as Good Governance Day at the booth level in the state. Thousands of party workers paid tribute to Atal ji at their booths.

Seminars and poetry recitals based on the personality and work of revered Atal ji were organized in all 27 organizational districts and 513 divisions. Service work, distribution of fruits and blankets were also done by party workers at many places.

Addressing the seminar organized by Dhanbad Metropolitan BJP, State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi paid tribute to Atal ji by garlanding the statue in Dhanbad. Addressing the seminar Marandi said that revered Atal ji is true to his goals and ideas. Always remain steadfast. He said that Atal ji dreamed of a developed and self-respecting India. For this he laid emphasis on good governance. Which is directly related to the reach of development to the last person. He paved the way for Antyodaya through good governance.

Marandi said that Atal ji reduced the distance between cities and villages through the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. The Golden Quadrilateral Scheme led to the revival of major highways of the country including the GT Road. Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan removed the shortage of resources in basic education. 

He said that Atal ji not only created a separate state but also created separate ministries for the rapid development of the tribal society, included Santhali language in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. He said that Atal ji Ji enhanced the self-respect and pride of the country with development programmes. Under the pressure of developed countries, the nuclear test pending for years was realized in Pokhran. Also assured the world that India’s nuclear test is for self-defense and India will not use it first.

He said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who defeated the enemy country in the Kargil war, never compromised on national security. The government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is rapidly taking forward the work of Atal ji. He said that Atal ji was an enemy of the people. Even his opponents respected him.
