Asian Championship can be seen through LED screens installed in Simdega, Khunti and Gumla, families of players are also watching the match

Ranchi:  The excitement for Jharkhand Women’s Asian Hockey Champions Trophy is at its peak in the entire state and country. People from other states are coming to Ranchi to cheer for Team India. Be it the cities of the state or the remote villages, a different kind of celebration and enthusiasm is visible everywhere. That’s why two days ago, a female hockey player from a remote village in Adki area of Khunti came to Ranchi and witnessed the international match.

There is an atmosphere of excitement in the village of Nikki Pradhan of Khunti, Salima Tete of Simdega and Sangeeta Kumari, who are playing in the Indian team in the Jharkhand Women’s Asian Hockey Champions Trophy. Every day in the village of Nikki Pradhan, Salima Tete’s Karanga Gudi and Sangeeta Kumari, the entire village enjoys the match on the big screen as the evening approaches.

Someone jumps with joy while someone blesses the daughter of the village and wishes for the victory of the Indian team. The government has invited the families of three daughters from Jharkhand included in the Indian team to watch the match. Nikki Pradhan’s family members also watched the match.

The family members of Salima Tete and Sangeet Kumari will also come to watch the match along with other villagers. Instructions have been given to make arrangements for this. Also, players who are receiving training in various sports training centers of the state are reaching the stadium to become aware of the nuances of sports organized at the international level.

The fever of Jharkhand Women’s Asian Hockey Champions Trophy is prevalent among people of all ages in the state. The live telecast of the match on LEDs installed in various districts of the state has further increased their curiosity. Champions Trophy matches are also being shown through mobile LED vans by the Information and Public Relations Department. 

Where there are no LED screens, the match is being telecasted on big screens by the district administration. Whereas in Ranchi, people are also enjoying the match in the Time Square built in Morhabadi ground outside the stadium, so that they can witness this international competition hosted by Jharkhand for the first time in the country.
