Around 600 Community Health Officers (CHOs) from across Jharkhand participated in an online webinar on ‘e-Sanjeevani Telemedicine Services’ on November 2, 2026, as part of efforts to strengthen the delivery of quality healthcare through digital platforms.
The webinar was organised by the State Comprehensive Primary Health Care–Ayushman Arogya Mandir (CPHC-AAM) Cell under the National Health Mission (NHM), Jharkhand, with technical support from IntelliHealth.
State Nodal Officer Dr Mukesh Kumar Mishra opened the session by highlighting the importance of providing quality teleconsultation services to every patient visiting an Ayushman Arogya Mandir. He emphasised the role of community health officers in ensuring that patients receive effective medical guidance through the telemedicine platform.
During the webinar, the IntelliHealth team introduced participants to the latest features of the e-Sanjeevani platform and explained how these could improve the delivery of teleconsultation services.
Dr S.K. Mishra shared practical guidance on effective patient communication, taking medical histories and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. His session focused on the key aspects that CHOs need to follow to ensure meaningful and efficient online consultations.
Dr Arpita Rai of the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi, explained the e-Sanjeevani Composite Score and how it is used to assess the quality of individual consultations. The session helped participants understand the importance of maintaining quality standards while providing telemedicine services.
Dr Sanjay Kumar conducted a practical demonstration, highlighting recommended practices as well as common shortcomings in teleconsultations. The demonstration offered CHOs a clearer understanding of how to improve their day-to-day use of the platform.
The webinar concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, during which participants discussed their queries and shared concerns related to telemedicine services.
All CHOs who successfully complete the webinar will receive e-certificates carrying credit weightage.
The initiative is aimed at improving the skills of frontline healthcare workers and strengthening the use of digital healthcare services at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, bringing professional medical consultation closer to communities across Jharkhand.
