Deoghar: Describing the present state government as anti-tribal Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the government of the state has done nothing for the development and upliftment of the tribal society and also questioned its silence over Bangladeshi intruders in Santhal Pargana.
Addressing the Vijay Sankalp Rally here he said that the state government does not want the development of the tribal society of the state as it has kept this society only as a vote bank.
He said that due to the policies of Congress and JMM this area has lagged behind on the path of development. He said that in the Jharkhand of Atal Ji’s dreams, the BJP government worked in all areas including education, roads, electricity, water, and employment, but the present government has ruined Jharkhand. He accused the state government of corruption even with tractors and railway wagons.
Expressing concern over the decreasing population of tribals and Dalits, he said that today the number of tribal communities in the state is decreasing under Hemant Soren’s government. Here the demography is being changed due to the infiltrators who are also grabbing the land in the Santhal Parganas region and committing atrocities on the tribal women and girls of the area.
He said the government should listen with open ears that now vote bank politics will not work as the tribal society understands its cleverness very well. He said that BJP will not allow the demography here to change. He said that it is the resolution of the BJP that Jharkhand will remain to whom it belongs.
He expressed serious concern over increasing atrocities on sisters and daughters in Jharkhand. He said that the safety of daughters is the responsibility of the state government. Speaking on the murder of Rubika Paharia and Ankita he said that the government is responsible for the murder of tribal and Dalit daughters.
Describing the BJP government as synonymous with development, he said that the BJP has done the work of writing a new saga of development during its tenure.
