Ranchi: On the call of All India Health and NHM Employees Federation, a national level protest was organized at Jantar Mantar, Delhi. NHM contract workers and Anganwadi workers from across the country participated in the protest.
Jharkhand state president of the union, Vinay Kumar Singh said that even after 15 years, NHM workers and AIDS control workers have to struggle for their demands in the states. We demand that the facility of one nation one honorarium should be given to all the employees. Because there is neither any policy of stabilization nor of salary increase in the states.
All the employees have reached Delhi to hold a democratic protest regarding their demands. Let us tell you that the main demands of the union include increase in honorarium, 65 years of service guarantee, EPF and ESI facilities. Rakesh Kumar Singh, Anuj Kumar Jha, Santosh Kumar, Saurabh Kumar Singh, Krishna Mahato, Pappu Mandal prominently participated in the protest.
