Ranchi: The recruitment process for Agniveers in Jharkhand has been started in all the 24 districts of the state for which online registration has been started from July 5, which will run till August 3.
The youths will have to register for recruitment on the official website of the Indian Army www. joinindianarmy.nic.in. Full details of the recruitment process will be available on the website. After that, they will get their admit card.
The eligible youth can participate in the recruitment rally by printing the admit card. At the time of resumption, candidates will have to bring a rally admit card, matriculation/12th registration card, admit card, original mark sheet, board certificate, residential certificate, character certificate, Aadhar card, NCC and sports certificate, 20 colour photographs.
A recruitment rally will be organized in the state capital Ranchi from September 5 to September 22 at Morhabadi ground. Candidates will start getting admit cards on their email id from August 20. Keeping in mind the rush in trains and buses during recruitment, the state government will also take help from the district administration for security and other arrangements.
Agniveers will be recruited for five categories in the rally to be held in Ranchi. These categories are – Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Storekeeper, Agniveer Tradesman 10th Pass and Agniveer Tradesman 8th Pass. The date of birth of the candidates should be between 1st October 1999 to 1st April 2005 to be included in the recruitment of all categories.
The army has issued an advisory to the candidates to stay away from touts. Military officials say that the process of recruitment in the army is completely fair and transparent so the candidates should not get fooled by anyone. If someone asks for money in the name of restoration, or demands anything else, then do not fall for them and complain about it.
