Ranchi: Lilwar Manjhi, 65 of Sunata Panchayat in Chas block burst into tears of joy when he got the certificate of pension being sanctioned. Lilwar Manjhi in his Santhali language with a tearful throat blessed the state government. He said that many times he had applied for old age pension in Panchayat / Circle office. For one reason or the other, the application used to remain pending, but this time through your rights- your government,
your door, his years old demand was fulfilled and he has got his right.
Shobhi Paharia, a resident of Jeruva village located in Karmatand block of Jamtara district is a graduate student. For the last five years he was making rounds of the block office to get the caste certificate made. After this, in the programme organized in Dumaria Panchayat Bhawan, your rights- your government, he reached with his complaints. Hearing their problem, the Block Development Officer informed the Circle Officer about it. After this, after taking immediate paperwork, caste certificate was issued to Shobhi Pahadia in just 45 minutes.
Shobhi said that the work for which he was worried for a long time, that work was done immediately. Deepak Kumar Rajak (39 years) and Vinod Thakur (44 years) residents of Masaratu of Katkamdag block of Hazaribagh are differently-abled. They are unable to walk. Without any means, they could not reach the camp. When this information was received by the Deputy Commissioner in the camp organized in Masaratu Panchayat, the administration team reached the house of both persons. Both did not even have a disability certificate, due to which they were not able to get the benefits of government schemes. Tricycles were provided to both the differently-abled by the administration. Along with this, they were also given a disability certificate.
Blankets were also provided to avoid the cold. Deepak Kumar Rajak and Vinod Thakur said that they did not even imagine that their problem would be solved so quickly and easily. Through the programme, the district administration is reaching the doorsteps of the people. They are being benefited by people-oriented schemes. Immediate relief is being provided to the people by connecting them with the welfare schemes of the government. So far, out of 4,58,667 applications, 2,04,257 cases have been processed through this programme. Apart from this, the process of executing 2,48,805 cases is on.
