Ranchi: The accused of cheating a women’s group in the name of providing a loan has been arrested. The police of Sukhdevnagar police station have arrested a youth named Vikas Satyam, a resident of West Champaran, Bihar.
Vikas Satyam is accused of cheating about Rs 2 lakh from about 30 to 40 women in the Sukhdev Nagar police station area.
Apart from this, Vikas Satyam had also given cheques to many women, which bounced.
After this, the women registered a case in Sukhdev Nagar police station and a warrant was issued against them from the court.
The police arrested him and sent him to jail.
