A horrific cave-in Sijua, Dhanbad -five houses were destroyed, poisonous gases coming out

Ranchi/Dhanbad: There remains a threat to the lives of people living in Dhanbad BCCL fire-affected areas. Landslides are happening in these areas every day. In the early morning of Sunday, a horrifying sound with a loud noise once again occurred in Jogta No. 11 Harijan Basti of Sijua Jogta police station area. 

In this gof there was five landfalls. Like a house, it has got absorbed in the goof. However, there was no one in the house when the Goff incident occurred. There is no report of any casualty from this. According to the information received, poisonous gas is continuously leaking from Gof.

More than half a dozen houses have been affected due to Goff. Cracks have appeared in many houses. There is an atmosphere of chaos in Harijan Basti. People are busy taking things out of their homes. There is a lot of anger among the local people towards BCCL.

The villagers have stopped the transportation work of Kankani Outsourcing. No BCCL official has reached the spot after the same incident. In this incident, people whose houses were completely engulfed by the gulf are now forced to wander. Now they are worried about where to spend the night. 

At the same time, gas leakage is happening rapidly after the landslide. The people of the colony are very angry after the incident. After getting information about the accident, the police also reached the spot and took information from the people about the accident.

Local people are angry that due to the negligence of BCCL management, such incidents are happening every day. In this incident, the people whose houses were completely engulfed in the goof are demanding rehabilitation and compensation.

On September 19, three women were trapped in a landslide near an outsourcing company operating in Gondudih Colliery of BCCL Kusunda area. Along with BCCL, the NDRF team also conducted a rescue operation, only then the bodies of the women could be recovered.
