Mumbai: Actor Shoaib Ibrahim shared an emotional birthday message for his wife, actress Dipika Kakar, describing her as a “fighter” who has inspired him with her resilience and strength.
Posting two family photographs on social media, featuring Dipika, their son Ruhaan and a homemade birthday cake, Shoaib expressed his admiration for the actress and her unwavering spirit.
“Happy birthday, fighter. You have taught me that true courage lies in never giving up,” he wrote.
Offering a heartfelt prayer for her well-being, Shoaib added, “On this special day, I pray to Allah to bless you with a long and healthy life. As for everything else, I promise to keep you happy—that responsibility is mine.”
The couple, who fell in love while working together on the television show Sasural Simar Ka, tied the knot in 2018 in Bhopal. They welcomed their son, Ruhaan, in 2023.
Dipika has faced significant health challenges over the past year. In 2025, Shoaib revealed through a vlog that she had been diagnosed with a tennis ball-sized tumour in her liver. She later underwent surgery in February 2026 to remove both a stomach cyst and a liver cyst, after which Shoaib confirmed that the procedure had been successful.
Dipika is best known for her roles as Simar in Sasural Simar Ka and Sonakshi in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum. She also emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 12 in 2018 and appeared in the dance reality show Nach Baliye 8.
Shoaib, meanwhile, gained popularity for portraying Prem Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka and has also participated in reality shows such as Nach Baliye 8 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11.
