Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday met Major General Sajjan Singh Mann, GOC of the 23 Infantry Division, and Durand Cup Nodal Officer Colonel Hemchandra at the Chief Minister’s Residential Office in Ranchi. The officers briefed him on Ranchi’s preparations to host the prestigious Durand Cup football tournament for the first time, with the event expected to begin on July 26. Tourism, Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Sudivya Kumar was also present during the meeting.
