Mumbai: Actress Tara Sutaria has opened up about her memorable debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, calling the experience of sharing the global platform with accomplished women from across the world “very special.”
Representing India at one of the world’s biggest film festivals, Tara was also honoured at the Women In Cinema Gala hosted by the Red Sea International Film Foundation. The event celebrated influential female voices and their contributions to global cinema and storytelling.
Speaking about the honour, Tara said she felt humbled and thrilled to be surrounded by women who are “celebrated, skilled, powerful, fabulous, beautiful and intelligent.”
She added that the evening was not only about celebrating achievements, but also about recognising shared passions and experiences through cinema and storytelling.
“I’m really happy that the Red Sea Film Foundation and everyone at Cannes invited us to be here, and to share this honour with them feels really lovely,” the actress said.
