Neha Dhupia not doing ‘Traitors 2’, says she’s too busy going on ‘Double Date’

Mumbai — Actress Neha Dhupia has dismissed rumours about her participation in Traitors 2, hinting instead that she is occupied with a new project intriguingly titled “Double Date.”

Taking to Instagram Stories, Neha shared a playful message saying she is neither a “traitor” nor an “innocent,” but simply busy going on a “#DOUBLEDATE,” adding that something new is coming soon. The cryptic post has sparked curiosity among fans and industry watchers.

In recent days, Neha and her husband Angad Bedi have been spotted with several celebrity couples, including Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra, as well as Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani. Interestingly, all of them mentioned being on a “double date,” adding to speculation about the upcoming announcement.

A source close to the development described the post as a clever and lighthearted way for Neha to address the rumours while building anticipation. The repeated appearances with celebrity couples, the source said, appear to be part of a pattern hinting at a new project without revealing too much.

On the work front, Neha was recently seen in the series Single Papa on Netflix. The show also features Manoj Pahwa, Kunal Kemmu, Dayanand Shetty, Prajakta Koli and Ayesha Raza Mishra.

The series follows Gaurav Gehlot, a lovable but immature man who shocks his family by deciding to adopt a baby immediately after his divorce. The show mixes humour and emotional moments as the family navigates the chaos, and it has already been renewed for a second season.

Neha made her acting debut with the Telugu film Ninne Istapaddanu and entered Hindi cinema with Qayamat: City Under Threat. She has since appeared in films such as Kyaa Kool Hai Hum, Chup Chup Ke, Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, Singh Is Kinng, De Dana Dan, Tumhari Sulu and A Thursday.
