Being a Woman Is a ‘Superpower’: Kangana Ranaut Shares Empowering Message on Women’s Day

Mumbai — Actor and politician Kangana Ranaut marked International Women’s Day with a strong message celebrating the strength and resilience of women, calling womanhood a “superpower”.

Taking to her official account on the social media platform X (Twitter), the actress encouraged women to recognise their inner strength and use it wisely in their lives. She emphasised that understanding one’s power should be about personal growth and self-respect, not about using it against others.

In her message, Ranaut said that every day belongs to women and urged them to value their abilities while staying generous and positive. She noted that kindness and giving nature should never be regretted, even if appreciation does not always come from the expected sources.

The actress also highlighted the importance of self-reliance in achieving happiness. According to her, women should dedicate themselves fully to their work, families and friendships, but should not depend on others for validation or fulfilment.

Sharing her personal philosophy, she advised women to surround themselves with people who genuinely value them. Ranaut also reminded her followers to prioritise their health and well-being while continuing to pursue their goals with confidence.

On the professional front, Kangana was last seen in the film Emergency, which released in theatres on January 17, 2025. In recent years, she has also become increasingly active in public life and politics. Representing the Bharatiya Janata Party, she currently serves as the Member of Parliament from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh.
