Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren will chair a high-level review meeting on the state’s law and order situation on May 27 (Tuesday) at Project Bhavan. The meeting will focus on 16 key agenda points, including illegal infiltration and serious criminal incidents.
Top officials including the Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, and Director General of Police (DGP) will be physically present at the meeting. Zonal IGs, DIGs of ranges, Deputy Commissioners (DCs), and Superintendents of Police (SPs) from various districts will participate via video conferencing.
The agenda includes a review of major criminal incidents, cybercrime, illegal arms, illegal infiltration, crimes against women, atrocities against SC/ST communities, land disputes, mob lynching, security of public representatives, court security, communal incidents, caste-related tensions, acid attacks, illegal mining, illegal lottery, and illicit liquor.
The meeting aims to assess the current security scenario in the state and issue directives to strengthen administrative and policing mechanisms.
