Ranchi: In a crackdown on encroachments, the Ranchi district administration on Thursday launched a special drive along the city’s Main Road. A four-wheeler parked near the Gurudwara was found obstructing traffic and was promptly seized by officials on the spot and sent to the local police station.
According to officials, the vehicle’s owner was busy shopping nearby while the car was causing significant disruption on the road. The swift action brought relief to pedestrians and local shopkeepers who had been inconvenienced.
The district administration stated that this anti-encroachment drive will continue across the city, and strict action will be taken against any vehicles found parked illegally in the future.
