Yellow alert issued for three days, heavy rains predicted on October 3 and 4

Ranchi: The Ranchi Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for rainfall for the next three days in Jharkhand whose effect will be seen in many different districts of the state. However, no major change is likely in the maximum temperature in the state during the next two days. Thereafter, there may be a fall of 4 degrees during the next 3 days.

There is a possibility of change in the weather due to the wind direction. As per the forecast of the weather station, light to moderate rain is very likely at some places over the state on October 2 while light to moderate rain is very likely at many places over the state on October 3.

Light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at almost all places over the state from October 4 to 7. As per the weather department here is a possibility of thunder and lightning at isolated places in the state till October 2. People have been advised to be careful and stay in a safe place.

On October 3 heavy rainfall has been predicted in East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, Saraikela-Kharsawan, Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur, Sahibganj Ranchi, Bokaro, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Khunti and in Ramgarh districts. On October 4, heavy rain is expected at isolated places in Koderma, Latehar, Lohardaga, Ranchi, Bokaro, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Khunti, and Ramgarh districts.

According to the Meteorological Center, there will be a cloudy sky in Ranchi and adjoining areas till October 7.
