Officials of district administration inaugurate 10 day photo exhibition in Deoghar

Deoghar: As part of the Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on the occasion of the completion of eight years of governance dedicated to service good governance and poor welfare by the Central Government, the regional unit of Press Information Bureau Ranchi on Wednesday organised a ten-day photo exhibition in this temple town.

The inauguration of the exhibition was done by Manjunath Bhajantri Deputy Commissioner Deoghar Subhash Chandra Jaat, Superintendent of Police, Deoghar and Chief Priest of Baba Baidyanath Dham Temple, Sardar Panda Gulab Nand Ojha, On this occasion District Public Relations Officer Ravi Kumar Panda senior vice-president of Dharma Raksha Sabha Sanjay Mishra were also present. 

Speaking on the occasion DC Manjunath Bhajantri said that in this exhibition the welfare schemes of the Central Government is being presented which is commendable. The Deputy Commissioner said that a large number of toilets were constructed under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan program under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has increased the safety of women.

He said that Deoghar is a Shakti Peeth and therefore the district administration is committed to ensuring the equal participation of women everywhere. The program was also addressed by the Superintendent of Police Subhash Chandra Jaat. Earlier the head of the PIB’s Regional Office Ranchi Shahid Rahman welcomed all the guests and told the people about the purpose of the exhibition organized here.

During the program, a quiz competition was also organised and winners were felicitated by the dignitaries. The picture exhibition mainly serves the major schemes launched for poor and deprived people, women power, farmer welfare, ease of living, the contribution of national and local freedom fighters in independence, health, economy and reforms through AYUSH and yoga, national education policy, youth power.

A special presentation has also been given in this photo exhibition organized in Deoghar on the local freedom fighters Amanat Ali, Salamat Ali and Sheikh Haro. During the auspicious occasion of Shravan month, when there is a huge crowd of devotees in Baba Dham Deoghar this photo exhibition is being organized which will run till 12th August.
