Through ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign will try to take happiness inside every home: CM

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Sunday said that through the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign the government will try to take happiness inside the homes of the people. He said that it is a matter of great happiness that all have gathered to celebrate the 75th year of Independence. He said that a nodal officer has been appointed so that from August 13 to August 15 this campaign can reach inside every home.

Further, a meeting in this regard will be held on Monday which will be chaired by the Chief Secretary in which finer details of the campaign will be chalked out. The Chief Minister said that a letter will be sent to the government of India to provide flags and suggested that to link the common people with the campaign at the village level participation of the women groups should be involved in flag making so that at the village level information can spread among the people regarding the campaign.

Earlier he participated in a video conferencing with Union Home Minister Amit Shah who said that the nation is gearing up to celebrate the 75th Independence Anniversary as part of which ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign will be organised. Under this with the participation of the people flags will be put up in their homes of the people.

Through this program, an effort will be made to evoke feelings of pride self-respect, and patriotism among the people he said adding that the work can not be done alone and has to be done together with the states and their people.

He said that flags for this campaign can be purchased via online mode and also from the nearest post offices. Apart
from Chief Minister, those who were also present in the meeting included Tourism Minister Hafizul Hassan, Chief Secretary In charge Arun Kumar Singh, Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey and Secretary Tourism Amitabh Kaushal.
