NHAI to spend Rs 16.7 crore for repair of NH-33

Ranchi, Jul 30: The National Highway Authority of India will spend Rs 16.7 crore to undertake the repaid of Namkum-Jamshesdpur-Mahulia (139 kms to 277.5 km) road while the task of filling the potholes is also being done so that travelling can be made easy on the stretch.

An official press release issued here  said that NHAI had invited tenders for conducting the repair of the stretch of the road which also included strengthening of road from 244kms to 249.60 km falling under Jamshedpur urban area.

On the other hand the Aadardih-Chandil stretch has been handed over to Durgapur unit of the NHAI and the work on the repair for this road is also expected to commence in another seven days.
