As per aspirations of state government roads will be constructed: Gadkari

Ranchi: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Saturday that as per the desire of state government roads will be constructed in Jharkhand.

Speaking after laying foundation stones and inaugurating 21 road projects in the state via online mode he said that work on economic corridor being executed under Bharatmala Project will be completed by the next financial year. He said that over the course of the next three years Rs one lakh crore will be spent on building roads in Jharkhand.

The Union Minister urged the state government to prepare the DPR for the road projects and send the same to the centre so that construction work can be increased. Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda also spoke on the occasion.
