8.5 Km long Elevated Road will be constructed in Kanke Road

Ranchi: According to the Officials of the Jharkhand government three elevated corridors and flyovers are under construction in the city.

By the end of this year, the construction of an elevated corridor will also start in the VIP area of the capital, Kanke Road.

About 8.5 km long elevated corridor will be built from CM House at LPN Shahdev Chowk to Kanke Ring Road. Cable bridges will be constructed at some places and ramps at three places in the elevated corridor. Before Chandni Chowk, ramps will be made near Potpoto River and Rinpass Chowk.

Following the instructions of Road Construction Secretary Sunil Kumar, the process of hiring a consultant has been started to prepare the Detail Project Report (DPR) of the elevated corridor. DPR will be made in three months.

Tenders will be floated after getting technical and cabinet approval.

Officials of the Road Construction Department said that the survey will be done within three months. A report will be prepared after assessing the trees and plants.

From this, it will be known how many trees will be cut. How many people will be affected and how many structures will be broken? Where and how much land will be required for acquisition?
