Ranchi: A total of 7,414 trainees from Industrial Training Institutes across Jharkhand have received job offers after completing various skill-based courses. Of these, 5,756 were offered full-time positions, 333 part-time roles, and 1,287 apprenticeship opportunities. Despite the large number of offers, only 4,211 candidates have joined their respective companies so far, including 4,010 men and 201 women.
According to the Labour Department, 2,514 candidates found employment within Jharkhand, while 1,706 secured jobs outside the state in different firms and establishments. The distribution of jobs across social categories shows that 2 candidates from the general category, 1,599 from BC-I, 382 from BC-II, 426 from SC, and 912 from ST communities received offers.
Monthly salaries vary significantly among the selected candidates, with 528 earning up to ₹10,000, 3,330 earning between ₹10,000 and ₹15,000, 2,266 earning between ₹15,000 and ₹20,000, and 1,262 earning more than ₹20,000. Officials said the placement drive highlights the increasing demand for skilled manpower trained through ITIs, both within Jharkhand and in other states.
