Ranchi: The preparations for the Jagannathpur Rath Yatra, which will take place on Tuesday in the capital, are in the final stage. Around 700 police personnel have been deployed to handle the security arrangements in the fair premises.
SSP Kishore Kaushal said that elaborate security arrangements have been made in the fair premises. CCTVs have been installed at various places. A strict vigil is being kept on anti-social elements.
Officers of the district administration along with the SSP reached the fair site to see the preparations before the event and to give directions in view of security and other arrangements. In view of the security in the fair, a total of 16 barricades have been installed. At the same time, more than 40 CCTV cameras have been installed.
Women and men security personnel will also be there in plain clothes. Monitoring will also be done by drone
