Ranchi: In Jharkhand, in the last 64 months from January 2018 to April 2023, 5897 cases have been registered under the POCSO Act. In which 5104 cases have been executed by Jharkhand Police. At the same time, 793 cases are still pending.
On the other hand, while taking action in the registered cases, the police arrested 5749 accused. A maximum of 593 accused have been arrested in the Ranchi district.
