The joining of legislators and former bureaucrats took place in presence of Chief Minister Raghubar Das, party election in charge Nand Kishore Yadav and state president Lakshman Giluwa. The JMM legislator Kunar Sarangi and independent legislator Bhanu Pratap Shahi also joined the BJP.
Former DGP, D.K. Pandey, former IPS officials and Congress leader Arun ORaon and retired IAS officials Suchitra Sinha also joined the BJP.
“ Today is an important day for BJP. The veteran leaders of Congress Sukhdeo Bhagat and Manoj Yadav, JMM legislator, former IAS and IPS officials have joined the party. They are joining the BJP for development and nationalism issue” said the Chief Minister.
