4 arrested in connection with murder of BJP leader in Latehar

Latehar: Police has arrested four criminals in connection with the murder of district general secretary and MP representative Jaivardhan Singh.

Latehar SP Prashant Anand in a press conference said the main conspirator Manohar Parhia is associated with Jharkhand Janmukti Parishad and in order to establish his influence in the area he had planned the killing. However he had executed the incident without the approval of his organisation.

The arrested have been identified as Rahul Kumar Thakur, Satyam Kumar Gupta, Anshu prasad and Suresh Parhia. While Rahul and Satyam hail from Palamu district while the remaining are from Latehar district.

The SP said that the Manohar had given a contract of Rs 3 lakh to his old associate Anshu Prasad to execute the killing of Jaivardhan Singh.
