Winter Session of Jharkhand Assembly from Tuesday all set to disruptive

Ranchi, Dec 11: The Four day long Winter Session of the Jharkhand Assembly which would commence from Tuesday is all set to be lousy and disruptive as the opposition would look to corner the government over a host of issues.

As per the official schedule released by the Vidhan Sabha the state government would be tabling the second supplementary budget for the year 2017-18 on December 13. However since the session is commencing from Tuesday and would end on Friday therefore no Chief Minister question hour would be held as it is scheduled for every Monday during the session.

The opposition would seek answers from the government over the land acquisition (amendment) bill, law and order, farmers policy, suicide by farmers, death due to malnutrition and hunger, lack of teachers in government schools.  The government during this short session would also table in the house 6 legislations.

Senior JMM legislator Nalin Soren said that the opposition would untidily corner the government over a host of issues as there were many serious matters. He said that there was no division among the ranks of the opposition and the government would be forced to answer their queries.

Congress legislature wing leader Aalamgir Aalam said that the government does not have any respect for the house. He said that the government would be asked questions on land acquisition, law and order situation and farmer suicide. On the other hand Pradeep Yadav of the JVM(P) said that the entire opposition would remain united and would corner the government over key issues like land acquisition.
